Notice
This product is NOT recommended for use with lithium ion batteries, nickel cadmium batteries, batteries with ABS plastic case, or for use inside an insulated battery box. Only compatible with standard lead-acid and AGM batteries, please confirm your battery type before purchase and use.
Directions
Plug the heater pad into a 120V AC power source for 10-30 minutes, or until the battery is warm enough. Place the pad under the battery in the battery tray. The built-in thermostat will turn off the pad automatically at 68°F (plus or minus 10 degrees). Unplug the cord completely after heating before starting your vehicle.
Safety Information
- This pad generates constant heat during operation, do not cover or wrap with thick insulation materials when powered on.
- Keep the heating surface fully contacting the battery bottom, avoid direct contact with flammable foam, plastic fabrics.
- Do not leave the heating pad plugged in unattended for extended time. For safety, unplug the pad after use or when the thermostat has shut off and the battery is sufficiently warmed.
- Inspect the cord and pad surface before each use; stop using immediately if the silicone coating is torn, cracked or damaged.
- Keep the unit far from spilled battery acid, gasoline and other flammable liquids while powered.
