Do not place any items like batteries on top of the heater pad; heavy pressure will damage internal heating elements. The pad stays cool to touch during normal operation. Heater pad should be applied at a minimum ambient temperature of 68°F (20°C).

# CAUTION & Operating Instructions
## CAUTION
1. This 120V AC model only works with shore power receptacles, do not connect to 12/13.5V DC RV battery system.
2. Do not install the heater pad on a circuit with a Pump Motor or Microwave Oven.
3. Important Notice: This product designed and tested for use as a heating device for RV holding tank and drainage systems constructed of electrically non-conductive materials.
4. Do not activate the pad if no fluid inside the tank, as this may cause overheating and damage the heating elements.
5. Do not place any objects such as batteries on top of the heater pad.
6. Power socket recommendation: Use 15A GFI-protected 120V AC receptacle; all wiring connections must stay dry and away from liquid puddles to avoid safety hazards. If extension cord is needed, use 15A rated outdoor-grade cord.
## Operating Instructions
• Ensure that the holding tank contains fluid before activating the pad. Fluid must cover the full surface where heater pad attaches.
• Hardwire version: Flip power switch ON when temperature drops near freezing; Plug-in version: Insert the 2-prong cord into shore power outlet.
• The built-in thermostat will automatically turn ON the heater when tank temperature drops to 45°F (±5°F) to prevent freezing.
• The heater will automatically turn OFF once tank temperature rises to 68°F (±5°F).
• Manually cut off power / unplug the cord when outside temperature stays above freezing, fluids are fully emptied from tanks, summer arrives or RV is not in use.
• Ambient temperatures must be at freezing or below and remain in this temperature range while the heater pad is activated. Operation in warmer temperatures could damage your system.
